Net Talk Interactive from the year 2000-2001

Legend Media Producers

I finally found a fairly high resolution copy of NTI.

Net Talk Interactive was a television show that DigitalConvergence Corp produced - in high definition. For broadcast it was down converted and sent out weekly for distribution. NTI took home the top award at the Worldfest Awards in Houston that year in the category of Family and Childrens series programming.

My role was that of director during shoot days, and edit supervisor as we prepared them for air. Usually, 3 shows were captured in a day's taping.

This is a short clip that includes the opening and the first minute of the first segment. The animated open itself was shot on green screen. Additional elements were composited in after the fact. The open was fun and catchy, and the show itself was about 10 years ahead of its time - very high production quality.

In the show, the :Cue technology from DigitalConvergence played a big part. The show was "Net Talk Interactive" - and each episode gave viewers at home (U.S. and China!) a chance to "follow along!"
